Favorite Layered Green Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 small head lettuce, shredded fine with knife
1 c. onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, finely chopped
1 can water chestnuts, drained and sliced thin
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas
2 c. mayonnaise (spread on top)
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (8 oz.) pkg. grated Mozzarella cheese
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation

In long dish, layer lettuce, onion, celery, water chestnuts and frozen green peas, in this order.
Spread mayonnaise on top. Mix together sugar, salt and pepper and sprinkle over mayonnaise. Last, sprinkle grated Mozzarella cheese over mayonnaise and top with Parmesan cheese.
