Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. or 1 (16 oz.) can fruit cocktail
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 c. flour
    2 eggs
    1/2 stick oleo or margarine
    1 c. pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients and bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
