Fresh Squeezed Lemonade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 Tbsp. lemon rind
    1 1/2 c. lemon juice
    5 c. cold water
    lemon or lime slices (optional)
    fresh mint sprigs (optional)
Preparation
    Combine sugar and boiling water, stirring until sugar dissolves.
    Add lemon rind, lemon juice and cold water; mix well and chill.
    Serve over ice.
    Garnish with lemon or lime slices and/or fresh mint sprigs.
