Kraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. kraut, drained
    1 c. celery, sliced thin
    1 c. bell pepper, chopped
    1 c. carrots, shredded
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. oil
Preparation
    Mix sugar and vinegar until sugar dissolves, then add oil and set aside. Mix all other ingredients, then pour liquid mixture over it and mix everything well. Refrigerate a couple of hours or overnight. Good on hot dogs.
