Thousand Island Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. sliced pickles
    1 tsp. ground mustard
    5 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. mustard seed
    4 sliced small onions
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Heat together, but do not boil.
    Pack into jars and seal while very hot.
    It is better to make 4 quarts at a time.
