Peach Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 can sliced peaches
    maraschino cherry halves
    Cool Whip, thawed
Preparation
    Melt butter in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Sprinkle brown sugar evenly in pan.
    Drain peaches.
    Arrange peaches and cherries in sugar mixture.
    Mix cake as directed on box; spread batter over fruit.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 45 to 50 minutes until cake tests done with a toothpick.
    Let stand 5 minutes, then turn upside-down on cookie sheet.
    Serve warm with Cool Whip.
