Honey Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. active dry yeast
1 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
1/3 c. honey
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs, well beaten
2 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
2 1/2 c. unbleached white flour
Preparation

Dissolve honey in 1/4 cup warm water.
Scald milk and add butter, honey and salt, let butter melt.
Cool milk mixture to lukewarm.
Add eggs and yeast, then flours.
Mix well.
Knead until satin smooth.
Place in buttered bowl; cover and let rise two hours, or until doubled in bulk. Punch down and form into round balls about the size of a golf ball.
Place separately on buttered cookie sheet or close together in buttered round pan. Cover and let rise again about 30 minutes.
Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven 15 to 20 minutes or until browned.
Makes about 2 dozen. These freeze well.
