Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 c. dark corn syrup
3 eggs
4 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 c. broken pecans
Preparation

Put sugar and corn syrup in saucepan; bring to a rolling boil on high heat.
Beat eggs; slowly add hot syrup to eggs, beating constantly.
Add butter, vanilla and nuts.
Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake in a 450\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes, then at 300\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
Use 8-inch pie pan.
