Hummus(Middle Eastern Chickpea Dip) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 cloves garlic
    1/4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. olive or vegetable oil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 can drained chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
    1/4 c. tahini (sesame butter) *
    chopped parsley or mint
Preparation
    Blend garlic, water, lemon juice, oil and salt in blender. Add chickpeas and blend until smooth.
    Add tahini and blend; the mixture should have the consistency of thick mayonnaise.
    If too thick, add a little water.
    Garnish with parsley or mint leaves and serve with wedges of pita bread.
