Cornbread Substitute - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Cream of Wheat (2 1/2 minute; red box)
    1 c. sweet milk
    1 c. plain flour
    2 tsp. sugar
    4 tsp. baking powder (level)
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1/8 c. cooking oil
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0. Have skillet or skillets hot with plenty of hot oil to keep from sticking. Mix all ingredients well. Pour into hot greased skillet or skillets and cook for approximately 20 to 25 minutes.
