German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes, boiled in skin
    6 slices bacon
    1/3 c. bacon fat
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    3/4 c. water
    1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Peel and slice cool boiled potatoes.
    Fry bacon crisp and crumble.
    Cook bacon fat and chopped onion.
    Add flour, sugar, salt and pepper.
    Stir in vinegar and water and boil 1 minute.
    Add bacon to sauce.
    Pour over sliced potatoes.
    Garnish with parsley and pimentos.
    Serves 8.
