Ham, Cabbage And Rice Skillet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small green cabbage (about 1 lb) coarsely chopped
    1 box (7 oz) yellow rice mix with seasoning packet
    1 medium red bell pepper, chopped
    3 medium scallions, sliced (reserve sliced green tops)
    3 oz. lean ham, cut into 1/2 inch chunks (1 3/4 cups)
Preparation
    In a large deep nonstick skillet, mix 2 cups water, cabbage, rice, seasoning packet, red bell pepper and white part of sliced scallions.
    Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes.
