Zucchini Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bay leaf
    6 medium zucchini, sliced
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 c. commercial sour cream
    1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 tsp. dried whole basil
    1/2 tsp. dried whole oregano
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 tomatoes, chopped
    6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
    1/3 c. dry Italian seasoned bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Combine bay leaf and a small amount of water in a saucepan and boil.
    Arrange zucchini in a colander or straining rack.
    Reduce heat and place rack in a saucepan.
    Cover and steam 8 minutes or until zucchini is crisp-tender.
    Set aside.
