Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. vegetable oil
    2 c. sugar
    2 large eggs
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    3 c. raw, chopped apples (I use yellow Delicious, best if slightly mellow)
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 stick oleo
    1/4 c. sweet milk
Preparation
    Prepare apples.
    Cover and set aside.
    Measure oil and pour into large mixing bowl.
    Add sugar and eggs; mix well.
    Sift together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture in small amounts, beating after each addition.
    When batter becomes stiff, finish mixing by hand.
    Fold in nuts and apples.
    Spread evenly in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan or Bundt pan, if preferred. Bake about 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Remove from oven and set aside.
