Chinese Sweet-Sour Pork - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean pork, cut into 2-inch strips
    2 Tbsp. fat
    1/4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1 c. pineapple juice
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    3/4 c. green peppers, cut into thin strips
    1/4 c. thinly sliced onion
    1 (No. 2) can pineapple chunks
Preparation
    Brown pork in hot fat.
    Add water; cover and simmer for 1 hour.
    Combine cornstarch, salt, brown sugar, vinegar, pineapple juice and soy sauce; cook, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened.
    Pour sauce over hot pork; let stand for 10 minutes. Add green peppers, onion and pineapple chunks; cook 5 minutes. Yields 6 servings.
