Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 c. oil
    2 c. sugar
    5 egg yolks
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 small can coconut
    1 c. chopped pecans
    5 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Preparation
    Cream margarine and oil.
    Add sugar and beat until mixture is smooth.
    Add egg yolks and beat well.
    Combine flour and soda. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
    Add vanilla, coconut and pecans.
    Fold in egg whites.
    Pour batter into 3 (8-inch) pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Frost with Italian Cream Cake Frosting.
