Easy Minestrone - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large carrot
    1 stalk celery
    1/2 small head cabbage
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 bay leaf
    1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
    1 (16 oz.) can Italian green beans
    4 c. water
    2 beef bouillon cubes
    2 c. V-8 juice
Preparation
    Saute carrot, celery and cabbage in 1 tablespoon oil.
    Add other ingredients.
    Add small amount of cooked spaghetti (optional).
    Top soup with Parmesan cheese and serve.
