Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 saltines, crushed
    4 medium onions, sliced
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. milk
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    grated cheese (sharp Cheddar)
    1 stick butter
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter until tender.
    Line casserole dish with saltines.
    Mix together soup, milk and eggs.
    Pour onions and butter over saltines, then cover with soup mixture.
    Top with grated cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
