Perfect Blueberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 egg yolks
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/3 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 stiffly beaten egg whites
    1 1/2 c. blueberries
Preparation
    Cream together shortening and sugar.
    Add egg yolks, vanilla and milk.
    Add flour, baking powder and salt.
    Fold in beaten egg whites. Lightly fold in blueberries that have been floured.
    Bake in 8-inch square pan.
    Sprinkle top with sugar before baking. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
