Fried Bows(Easter Cookies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg yolks
    1 whole egg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. confectioners sugar
    1 Tbsp. rum flavoring
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. flour
Preparation
    Beat yolks, whole egg and salt together until very stiff, about 10 minutes.
    Blend in sugar and flavorings.
    Add flour all at once. Mix well.
    Knead until blistered about 7 minutes.
    Divide in half. Roll out very thin.
    Cut dough into 4 x 2-inch diamonds.
    Make 1-inch slit in diamond.
    Draw point of diamond through slit.
    Fry in hot fat until brown.
    Turn and fry other side.
    Drain on paper. Before serving, sprinkle with confectioners sugar or drizzle with honey.
