Grandma Pat'S Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    3/4 c. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (29 oz.) can peaches, sliced
    cinnamon
    additional sugar
Preparation
    Melt butter in baking dish.
    Mix together flour, sugar, milk, vanilla and baking powder.
    Pour over melted butter.
    Spoon peaches over mixture and then pour peach syrup over the top. Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon and additional sugar.
    Bake 40 to 50 minutes at 350\u00b0.
