California Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/4 c. unsifted flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 slightly beaten egg
Preparation
    Crust:
    Cut the butter into the flour; add the salt and egg and mix until dough holds.
    Roll out on lightly floured board. Flute and prick; fill with wax paper and rice and bake at 400\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
    This will be pale.
    (Discard paper and rice.)
