Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew meat
    4 or 5 medium potatoes, cubed
    4 or 5 carrots, sliced
    1 c. pearl onions (whole)
    1 can tomato soup (1/2 can water)
Preparation
    Place meat in the bottom of a large oven casserole.
    Arrange vegetables on top.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Mix soup and water and pour over vegetables.
    Do not stir.
    Cover and bake at 250\u00b0 for 5 hours.
    Long slow cooking makes its own delicious gravy.
