Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    chuck roast, cut up
    boxed frozen mixed vegetables
    1 large can tomato juice
    1/2 c. dried onions
    cubed potatoes
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. marjoram
    salt and pepper to taste
    powdered sage
    bay leaves (about 6)
Preparation
    Cook meat on high for 3 to 4 hours.
    Keep adding water so you don't boil the meat dry.
    Meat should be tender.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Simmer for several hours.
