Old-Fashioned Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. vanilla pudding, cooked (4 oz. serving size)
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    3 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    6 slices dry white bread, cut in 3/4-inch cubes
    1 c. sugar
    1 large can crushed pineapple
Preparation
    Combine pudding mix and 2 tablespoons sugar in saucepan. Blend in 2 cups milk.
    Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil.
    Remove from heat; stir in butter and vanilla.
    Pour remaining milk over bread cubes in a bowl to moisten, then stir into pudding mixture.
    Add 1 cup sugar and pineapple; mix well.
    Pour in a greased baking dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes or bake until firm and lightly browned. Serve warm or chilled.
    Makes about 6 servings.
