Squash Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. sliced yellow squash
    4 bell peppers, sliced
    3 large onions, sliced
    1/4 c. pickling salt
    3 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
    2 tsp. celery
    2 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Soak squash, peppers and onions with salt and water to cover for 1 hour.
    Mix spices, sugar and vinegar and bring to boil.
    Add drained squash, peppers and onions and bring to a good rolling boil.
    Put in jars and seal.
