Creamed English Peas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. small peas (canned or frozen)
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Heat peas in small pan.
    In small skillet, mix butter and flour.
    Cook over low heat for 1 minute.
    Add sugar, salt and pepper.
    Stir milk in quickly.
    Continue cooking and stirring until mixture thickens.
    Add to peas and mix gently.
