Creamed Sweet Cabbage - Pink Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 small head cabbage
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 medium onion
1/2 c. tomato sauce
3 Tbsp. flour
3 Tbsp. margarine
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Shred cabbage coarsely.
Put in large pot; barely cover with water.
Add salt and tomato sauce.
Simmer until cabbage is tender.
Chop the onion; cook in the margarine until tender and golden brown.
Add the flour, stirring continuously, until the mixture is light brown.
Add this to the cabbage, stirring to dissolve.
Cook until the liquid in the pot thickens.
Remove from heat; stir in the sour cream.
