Amish Style Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. noodles
    1 c. mushrooms, thinly sliced
    2 c. chicken broth
    1/4 c. pimento, cut into strips
    2 c. cooked chicken, cut up
    1/2 c. butter
    1/3 c. flour
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cook noodles and drain.
    In a large skillet, melt butter and cook mushrooms until tender.
    Blend in flour.
    Gradually add broth, milk, pimento, salt and pepper, stirring constantly until sauce is thickened.
    In greased 2 1/2-quart casserole, combine noodles, chicken and sauce; top with cheese.
    Bake for 20 minutes.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
