Cocoa Party Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
2 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. Hershey's cocoa
3 c. sifted cake flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add vanilla.
Sift together cocoa, flour, baking soda and salt.
Add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
Pour into prepared pans.
Bake in three 9-inch round pans at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes; one 13 x 9 x 2 1/4-inch pan, bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes.
