Chinese Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 loin chops
    salt
    2 to 3 Tbsp. oil
    1 onion, sliced
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    1/4 c. orange juice
    1 lemon, unpeeled and sliced
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 can sliced mushrooms
    1/4 tsp. ground ginger
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    1 (4 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Season chops well with salt and brown on both sides in oil.
    Place chops in baking dish; cover with onions. Combine soy sauce, orange and lemon juices, mushrooms, ginger and garlic powder; pour over chops.
    Cover and bake 35 minutes.
    Add green pepper, chestnuts and lemon slices.
    Bake, uncovered, 15 minutes longer.
    Serve with rice.
