Grandma'S Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    3 eggs (start with 2)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2 Tbsp. baking powder
    3 c. flour (start with 2)
Preparation
    Mix butter and sugar. Add eggs, milk and vanilla. Add soda and enough flour for a soft dough. Roll batter with rolling pin until dough is about 1/4-inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter. Cut out center with thimble. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
