Prize Winning Persimmon Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. persimmon pulp
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/4 c. half and half cream
    1/4 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream pulp and sugar and add beaten eggs, beating well.
    Put soda into buttermilk and salt until foaming ceases.
    Add to pulp mixture alternately with dry ingredients which have been sifted together.
    When all is blended, add the cream and butter.
    Mix well.
    Pour into greased pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
