Potato Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
1 c. mashed potatoes
1/2 c. milk
2 1/4 c. flour
4 eggs
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Blend butter and sugar.
Add potatoes, milk and eggs and mix thoroughly.
Combine remaining ingredients and add to potato mixture.
Bake in greased and floured angel food pan in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
Sprinkle with confectioners sugar when cool.
