Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small cabbage
    1 small diced onion
    1 small diced green pepper
    1 c. white vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. turmeric
    black pepper or celery salt to taste (if desired)
Preparation
    Combine vinegar, sugar and turmeric; bring to boil.
    Pour over grated cabbage and other ingredients.
    It's better if made day before serving.
    Keep refrigerated.
