Apple Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. milk plus 1 Tbsp.
1 1/2 c. apples, chopped
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together.
Beat egg and add milk.
Pour into dry ingredients.
Stir until batter is smooth.
Pare apples and dice or slice very thin.
Add apples to batter and blend together.
Drop by spoonfuls into deep hot fat, 370\u00b0 to 375\u00b0.
Fry until a golden brown on all sides.
Roll in 10x sugar.
Makes 12 to 15 fritters.
