Grow Coal Flowers - cooking recipe

Ingredients

6 Tbsp. salt
6 Tbsp. water
6 Tbsp. bluing
1 Tbsp. household ammonia

Preparation

Mix and stir the ingredients.
Half submerge a piece of coal or an old piece of brick.
Watch it carefully as it grows.
You may try dotting the coal or brick with food coloring for different colors.
This is a very old recipe.
