West Virginia Applesauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 West Virginia apples, peeled, quartered and cored
    2 c. water
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Place apples in pan of water and bring to boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer until apples are soft. Mash apples and add brown sugar and cinnamon.
    Makes 8 cups.
