Betty'S Toffee Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

saltine crackers
1 c. sugar
2 sticks butter (must be butter)
1 pkg. milk chocolate chips
crushed nuts
Preparation

Line a cookie sheet with foil and spray well with nonstick spray. Line the cookie sheet with saltine crackers. Boil the sugar and butter until it comes to a rolling boil. Stir well. Pour sugar mixture over saltines. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and spread the chocolate chips evenly over the cookie sheet. Return tray to warm oven just long enough to melt the chips. Add crushed nuts and let the tray cool in the refrigerator for several hours. Break into pieces.
