Lemon Sponge Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lemon, grated and juice
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour (heaping)
2 eggs (reserve whites)
1 c. milk
1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter.
Add beaten egg yolks.
Add flour and mix.
Add lemon juice, grated rind and milk.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Pour into unbaked crust.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.
(Pillsbury pie crust works fine.)
