Pineapple Refrigerator Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. graham cracker crumbs (about 16)
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. margarine, melted
    1/2 c. margarine, softened
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    1 small Cool Whip
    1 (1 lb. 4 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple, well drained
    maraschino cherries (optional)
Preparation
    Mix thoroughly graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar and melted butter.
    Press half the crumb mixture evenly in bottom of square pan, 8 x 8 x 2-inch.
    In small mixer bowl, beat 1/2 cup margarine and the confectioners sugar until light and fluffy. Spread evenly over crumbs in pan.
