Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 lb. ground beef
    2 to 3 large onions
    1 1/2 to 2 c. green pepper
    6 heaping Tbsp. chili powder
    2 (No. 10) cans tomatoes, crushed (2 gal.)
    1 (46 oz.) can tomato juice
    1/2 gal. water
    2 (No. 10) cans kidney beans (2 gal.)
    salt and pepper to taste
    Tabasco sauce for flavor
Preparation
    Brown beef, onion and green pepper (brown onion and pepper separate from beef).
    Mix other ingredients; simmer then add beef, onion and pepper.
    Simmer for several hours to improve flavor. Add kidney beans last 30 minutes of cooking.
    Serves 75.
