Cold Oven Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
5 eggs
1 Tbsp. vanilla OR lemon
1 small can milk plus enough water to make 1 c.
Preparation

Cream butter, Crisco, and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time; mix well. Add dry ingredients alternately with can milk. Mix well and add flavoring. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Place in COLD oven and turn oven to 325\u00b0. Bake 1 hour 45 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. Do not open oven door while baking. Remove from pan immediately.
