Fried Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 to 12 apples
    bacon drippings
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Peel apples and slice thin.
    Cover bottom of large frying pan with a thin coating of bacon grease.
    Place apples in pan. Sprinkle on the sugar.
    Add the water.
    Place top on pan and cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes or until apples are tender.
