Six-Layer Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 onion
    4 medium potatoes, sliced
    3 or 4 carrots, sliced
    3 green peppers, cut in strips
    1/3 c. uncooked rice
    1 large can tomatoes
Preparation
    Brown ground meat with onion in skillet. Season to taste. Put in the bottom of a 4 or 5-quart pan. Then add sliced potatoes, carrots, peppers, rice and tomatoes on the top. Layer in that order. Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 about 2 1/2 hours.
