Fried Salmon Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (7 3/4 oz.) can salmon, drained
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper
    2/3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/3 c. plain corn meal
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/3 c. buttermilk
    oil
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except oil.
    Drop by spoonfuls into hot deep oil.
    Fry until brown, turning once.
