Raisin Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. seedless raisins
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon candy hearts
Preparation
    To 1 cup water add sugar and bring to a boil.
    Add rest of ingredients and mix well.
    Then bring to a boil again.
    Add 1 teaspoon cornstarch, dissolved in a small amount of cold water. Stir until mixture thickens slightly.
    Serve hot on ham.
