Grandma Ruth'S Silver Bells - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft butter
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add other ingredients.
    Roll 1/4-inch thick on floured surface.
    Cut out shapes.
    (Grandma Ruth made bells!)
    Bake on ungreased baking sheet.
    Cool.
    May be frosted with thin icing.
    Bake for 10 minutes.
