Ruby'S Ice Cream Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 oz. slivered almonds
    4 Tbsp. real butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 1/2 c. crushed Rice Chex (measure after crushing)
    1 c. coconut
    1/2 gal. or more vanilla ice cream
Preparation
    Brown almonds in butter.
    Add brown sugar, Chex and coconut. Place half of mixture in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cover with ice cream. Top with remaining mixture.
    Freeze until serving time.
    Cut into squares.
