Sour Cream Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sour cream
1 3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. pecans or coconut (if desired)
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 egg, slightly beaten (omit if desired)

Preparation

Combine sour cream, butter, egg and sugar in a saucepan.
Beat with eggbeater slightly.
Cook, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened.
Stir in pecans, if desired.
